Shasha's artistic journey began at age 4, earning a Painting and Drawing certification by 12. She later explored graphic design, showcased her work in art shows, and authored three books, gaining international recognition.

In 2002, her mother’s battle with brain cancer inspired her to combine makeup and art to help individuals post-medical treatments. She founded Permanent Makeup by Shasha in 2004 and re-established it in Raleigh in 2008. With over 20 years of experience, her work has been featured in exhibitions and institutions like Duke and UNC Hospitals.

As a Certified Cosmetic Professional trained by the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP), she upholds the highest standards of ethical permanent cosmetic practices. Her passion is helping others achieve their personal goals and embrace their beauty. Over 20 years ago, she introduced Permanent Beauty to Johnston County and has since become a leading cosmetic professional and makeup artist in the Triangle area.

Based in Clayton, NC, she is also a freelance artist who has taught her accredited art program for over two decades. Her murals are displayed throughout Eastern NC, and she enjoys mentoring artists and creating portraits.
